Dr. Tim Levendusky named new Interim President of IBLP

14 March 2014, 15:07

timTim Levendusky, PhD, has been named the new Interim President of IBLP/ATI.

IBLP released the following statement today on their website:

“As the Institute goes through a transition, it is important to have a leadership team that can review the past, evaluate the present, and plan for the future.

To help in this transition, the Board of Directors has chosen Dr. Tim Levendusky to oversee the operations of the Institute, as interim president, until a new president is selected. Many supporters and friends of the ministry are familiar with Dr. Levendusky because of his many years of service with the ministry. He began as a staff committee coordinator and regional coordinator for the Basic Seminar and then served as the director for different training centers in the United States and abroad. For the last several years, Dr. Levendusky has managed the ministry’s international work in Mongolia and South Korea.”

Bill Gothard was placed on Administrative Leave on February 27, 2014, and then resigned as President of IBLP on March 5, 2014, following allegations of misconduct. The Board of Directors is still conducting an internal investigation on these allegations.

Dr. Levendusky immediately released an official statement on the status of IBLP and the investigation. This is the first update by a member of the Board since Bill Gothard was placed on Administrative Leave two weeks ago.
